Duas coisas pra finalizar.
Two things to wrap it up.

AME-A E DEIXE-A.
LOVE IT AND LEAVE IT.

Arvores largadas.

Before X-mas, Americans seemed to love with christmas trees. Lots of street stands selling them, all beautifully lit and decorated. As time went by, they started to disappear, finding their way inside New Yorker's homes (which is a tough thing, if you consider the size of their apartments).
As soon as christmas was over, the trees were back in the streets. Only now without the glamour or stands. They appeared all of a sudden, recklessly thrown over the sidewalks. The impression it gave me was that they were actually being thrown out the windows, since they came literally out of the blue (sky).

NA UCRANIA, CARTOES DE DESCONTO. NOS EUA, CHAVEIROS.
IN UKRAINE, DISCOUNT CARDS. IN AMERICA, KEY CHAINS.

I kinda bit my tongue talking about the Ukrainian discount cards. The reason: I had to live with them in America as well. Every shop had it's fidelity card. As you might remember, I complained about how hard it was to carry around all those cards in Ukraine. In America, they solved the problem by doing small tags that can be fit in your key ring. Just pray you don't have many keys or soon you'll find your key ring stuck with all those plastic discount whatever.
